I’ve had several pairs of pants with the wrong length listed, skirts listed in European measurements that were several sizes off, sweaters that should be loose fitting according to chest measurement be skin tight, etc. As far as I see they list sizes according to the label, but ... But eventually your investors expect to get paid, so you have to raise prices and cut costs (unless you can take enough advantage of economies of scale, which apparently wasn't the case with ThredUp.) The only saving grace was the damaged dooney purse I got had 14K gold diamond earrings in it. They were like hiding in a pocket and thredup must have missed it. If it makes it to their warehouse, they’ll probably process it as normal but there may be issues with the shipping if you go over the weight limit.
