I never had blood tests to see HCG levels after my first MC and I didn't take any PG tests or OPKs to find out. When HCG is so low, it’s hard to tell if the progression is ok or not. At early stages, doubling every 48 hours is ideal, but there are some that say a little more than 2 days is ok, but again, with low HCG, it’s hard to know. More than 2 days doubling time is generally when your HCG is much higher also. My fist hcg draw came back at 53 and my second only went up to 93. Feeling really disappointed and sad. I keep taking pregnancy tests and they haven’t been getting darker or lighter, they’ve pretty much stalled. Not sure what to expect now.
